On October 30th Charlottetown Kinsmen hosted a Halloween Party for the Canadian Mental Health Agency’s White Cross program, which gives adults with mental health issues opportunities to socialize in a fun setting. The Charlottetown Kinsmen have hosted this annual Halloween dance for many years now and it’s always a highlight of our Kin year.
This year we packed the dance floor at the Benevolent Irish Society hall with at least 150 ghouls, witches, and clowns. The Charlottetown Kinsmen sponsor the DJ service and club makes a sandwich lunch where every member brings in a few loaves of sandwiches.
We would like to thank the following members of the community that donated goods and services to this event:
- Mckennco Inc/McDonald’s
- Benevolent Irish Society for the hall
- Old Dutch Foods Ltd
- D.P. Murphy Inc
- Coca-Cola Inc
- Atlantic Superstore
